Pino's story in construction didn't begin with a family business handed down to him or a lifetime spent around job sites. When he first entered the industry, he had never even been on a construction site. What he did have was a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and a determination to do things well.
More than three decades later, that determination has grown into a career built on experience. Along the way, Pino learned the art of hand framing, developed skills across multiple areas of construction, built a home inspired by little more than a photograph, and ultimately became a licensed general contractor and builder. But if you ask him what matters most, his answer isn't likely to be about any of those accomplishments.
It's about people.
Pino founded Pursuit of Excellence because he believed homeowners deserved to work with someone they could trust—someone who would listen before building, communicate honestly, explain the options, and care about the outcome as much as the people who would ultimately live with it.
That philosophy comes naturally to him. Pino is the kind of person who would give someone the shirt off his back without waiting to be asked. He loves his family deeply, values the people around him, and genuinely wants the best for others. That same heart follows him onto every job site.
Whether he's discussing a custom home, planning an addition, working through the details of a remodel, or helping a family create a patio where they'll spend their summers, the dollar amount isn't what determines the level of care. The people do. He takes the time to listen, find solutions, and make sure his clients understand what will best serve their home, their needs, and their vision.
For Pino, success isn't measured simply by how many projects Pursuit of Excellence completes. It's being able to step away from a finished job knowing the work was done well, the client was treated right, and a family is a little happier in the space they now call home.
